Rules of Conduct
DO's:
- Know your character.
- Do not be afraid to speak as your character and in character.
- Do not set your character's purpose to break the game.
- Listen to the Dungeon Master.
- Let people have their moment.
- Have a character motivation.
- Plan your moves ahead of time instead of building little structures out of dice. You know who you are >:(.
- Read your character sheet properly and know what your actions are before your turn arrives. If you do not understand, ask the Dungeon Master.
- Listen to other party members.
- Remember to follow basic manners.
- Pay attention.
- Contribute to the narrative.
- Communicate with your DM if you are uncomfortable with a part of the story or want more or less of a specific aspect of the game.
- Contribute to the snack fund :).
- Help your Dungeon Master, he or she is trying their best.
- Above all, have fun :D.
NO-NO's:
- Disruptive Behavior, and you cannot justify it as 'roleplaying'.
- Excessive inappropriate actions and language.
- Throwing or damaging objects.
- Leaving excessive trash at the table or play area.
- Talking over other players and/or the Dungeon Master excessively.
- Constantly demanding more attention than others from the Dungeon Master.
- Talking/using the phone excessively at the table.
- Using racial, gender, or cultural slurs against another participant.
- Taking photos or videos of other participants without permission.
- Harassing other participants.
- Threatening violence against other participants.
- Stealing books, miniatures, or other products.
- Dungeon Masters will not be allowed to single out players for punishment. (i.e. they either play with you or not. Some people may not be suited for certain groups. You dont need to make them stay and make them feel bad at the same time. We're all there to have fun.)
- Metagaming.
- Choosing someone else's actions for them.
- Cheat by changing rolls if the Dungeon Master is not watching.
- Intentionally derailing the campaign.
